About the tour

This tour is a spiritual walking tour of Historic Downtown Savannah. It encompasses a variety of different historic denominational churches as well as other religious sites. The tour begins at the Salzburger Monument of Reconciliation and ends at the Cathedral Basilica of Saint John the Baptist. During the tour, you are introduced to and acquainted with a number of certain ladies and gentlemen of courageous faith in Jesus Christ. You will also be educated in the deep, Christian roots of Savannah and the State of Georgia. This tour is a “holy” ghost tour; there is more living in Savannah than is dead. Come and see!

From their earliest ancestors coming to the Colony of Georgia to starting a new life together, Benjamin and Jessica New are thankful to call Savannah their home. These newlyweds are excited to embark on this journey with you.

Preserving history has been a discipline in both the religious world and the secular world for many years. The book known as the “Acts of the Apostles” in the Bible is inspired by this principle and by God. In keeping with this calling and discipline, it is our mission to record and proclaim the Acts of the Saints in the “New World” which we know as the United States of America.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is at the heart of our mission, as we have found, the Gospel has been the treasure of Savannah from its founding to today. It is our prayer that by hearing the Christian History of Savannah, people will receive the Gospel of Jesus and will come to know Him.
